It is the role of the organization leader, as a transformation agent, to help create a positive organizational culture that meets the needs of a competitive environment, board and shareholder expectations, and employee satisfaction.

Many leadership behaviors are the same in all societies, indicating that regardless of the cultural or social differences from which a leader comes, there are certain leadership behaviors that are viewed as effective. The GLOBE project was instrumental in demonstrating how culture perceives effective and ineffective leadership, which is helpful to leaders in promoting cultural cooperation.
