2. Loam Soil takes advantage of the balance of water holding and nutrient availability. Loamy soils with high organic matter are well suited for high demand crops like fruits and vegetables. It is made up of about 60% sand, 10% clay, and 30% silt particles.

for different crops different soils are suitable:-

alluvial soil is a regular soil and are best suited for agriculture. They are best suited to irrigation and respond well to canal and well/tube-well irrigation.Ex rice, wheat, sugarcane, tobacco, cotton, jute, maize, oilseeds, vegetables and fruits.

Black soil is also a best choice for agriculture Ex- Cotton , jute etc

Red soil - it is also good for growing purpose it is like black soil but retain waterdesert soil this soil is not good for agriculture , don't retain water .

Desert soil this soil is not good for agriculture, don't retain water
