Answer: (a) When the air becomes warm, the air particles spreads out making the warm air light and less dense compared to cool air, and hence rises up. Cool air being heavier, sinks down. (b) Moving air exerts pressure on the objects

present on the surface of the earth.

Answer:

1)Movement of air caused by temperature or pressure differences is wind. ... In the atmosphere, convection transfers heat energy from warmer regions near the Earth's surface to regions higher up in the atmosphere away from the heating influence of the Earth's surface

2)a)Cool air sinks and warm air rises up because density of Cool air have more than density of warm air

b the flowing air provides a lift as it decreases the pressure and provides motion in opposite direction. ... thus moving air provides a lift by decreasing the pressure

3)An interchange of air between the land and oceans due to unequal heating and cooling of continents and oceans is known as monsoon winds. Our Indian economy is highly dependent on agriculture and our agriculture is dependent on the monsoon rains every year.
