Answer:

a) photosynthesis is a process in which green plants make their own food with the help of inorganic materials (H2O, CO2) and also with the help of sunlight and in the presence of photosynthetic pigment ( chlorophyll ) .

b) 6CO2 + 6H2O -------------- C6H12O6(glucose ) + O6

c) Necessary conditions are:

1) sunlight should be available .

2) water will be present in the atmosphere in the form of water droplets.

3) carbon dioxide gas will be present in the atmosphere in sufficient amount.

4) photosynthetic pigment ( chlorophyll ) should be present in the leaves of plants.

. photosynthesis will take place in only green plants (having chlorophyll in theri leaves) and some bacteria .

d) products formed are:

1. C6H12O6 ( Glucose )

2. O2 (oxygen ) ( as a waste product for plants and only few amount of oxygen is used by plants for respiration).
