1. Achievements of Napoleon Bonaparte in French Revolution were : -

(a) There was political instability among the directors and the members of Parliament. Napoleon took advantage of this and captured power.

(b) By capturing power Napoleon established peace in Paris and earned the reputation of competant ruler.

(c) He introduced the decimal system.

(d) He introduced the reforms like uniform system , the protection of private property.

(e) His speech was so impressible.


2. Position of women in the French Revolution were : -

(a) Women of third estates had to work for a living.

(b) They worked as seamstresses ; sold flowers , fruits and vegetables.

(c) Working had to look after their families , cook , fetch water , care for their children.

(d) Most women of third estates were not educated.

(e) Their wages were lower than those of men.
