A rolling ball stop after sometime because during the movement of ball ,there is a force which act on it i.e. frictional force which exert force in opposite direction of the motion of ball .Therefore , rolling ball stop after sometime...

..Some pollutants like sulphur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide react with the water vapour present in the atmosphere to form sulphuric acid and nitric acid. The acid drops down with rain, making the rain acidic.

... The sphere slow down due to friction force between the surface of the sphere and the surface on that the sphere is rolling . The friction force acting against the motion of the sphere. Thats why it is slowed down and stops after some time.
