Malleability is the property of a substance to be beaten into thin sheets for example aluminium file

ductility is a property of a substance to be beaten into wires for example copper wire

When are more reactive metal displaces a less reactive metal from its salt solution then the process is known as displacement reaction

When a metal is attacked by substances such as acid moisture water etc. then the process is known as corrosion for example blackening of silver articles green colour that appears on copper vessels and rusting of iron
