1.The Bohr model postulates that electrons orbit the nucleus at fixed energy levels. Orbits further from the nucleus exist at higher energy levels. When electrons return to a lower energy level, they emit energy in the form of light.

2.The electronic configuration of an element is related to its position on the periodic table. The links are: ... the number of electrons in the outermost shell of an element is represented in the periodic table as the group number that element is situated in.
