The most obvious and simple way ofremoving soluble impurities from salt is spraying of brine or water over a layer of salt - on a heap, on a screen, on a wire mesh belt or in a screw conveyor.

ANSWER:-

Method 1:-

  • This is a process in which we first use filtration and evaporation .
  • First, we take the salt and dissolve it in water.
  • As salt or common salt completely mixes, after which we can see impurities floating.
  • We allow it to settle. This process was Sedimentation.
  • After 1 or 2 hour we pour it slowly to separate the constituents .
  • Now, heat the water strongly. After that we will get the required salt.

Method 2:-

  • This method is quite short, but we need more materials .
  • We need filter paper, funnel , holder and a glass .
  • First, we will set the filter paper in funnel and place it above the glass via holder.
  • After that, we pour the mixture (after the salt is dissolved)
  • we get the salt solution.
  • Now we will evaporate and get back our salt. This all must be done under adult supervision.
