4:- Let 1st no. be x and 2nd be y.

A/Q

8x + 5y = 184---(1)

x - y = -3---(2)

M.B.S by 5

5x - 5y = -15----(3)

By solving 1 & 3 equations, we get

13x = 169

x = 169/13 = 13.

Put x in eq2.

13 - y = -3

-y = -3 -13

-y = -16

y = 16.

(a)- 1st no.--> 13.

2nd no.---> 16.

(b)- Product of no. = x × y

= 13 × 16

= 208.

(c)- Sum of no. = x + y

= 13 + 16 = 29.
