1. Facing towards South, Sanjeet walked 50 metres. He then
turned to his right and walked 30 metres. He again turned right
and walked 50 metres. How far was he from his original point
and in which direction he is now?
(A) 30 metres and in the West
(B) 30 metres and in the East
(C) 50 metres and in the West
(D) 20 metres and in the West​

It's North.

He walks 30 m South. And then when he turns left, he will be facing East and walks 25 m. Again when he turns to his left, he will be facing North.

So yeah, he would be facing North. It would be better to physically draw it and see, if you can't do it in your mind .

If the curvature of the earth is considered then the answer depends on his starting position.

If Sanjeet is standing somewhere near the equator when he started walking then he would end up facing almost north. However if he is standing on the north pole when he started then he would end up facing South. If he started on the south pole then he cannot face south.
