= 6x² + 11x +4

= 6x² + (8+3)x + 4

= 6x² + 8x + 3x +4

= 2x(3x+4) + 1(3x+4)

= (2x + 1) (3x + 4)

(II)

= 5x² - 7x -6

= 5x² - (10-3)x - 6

= 5x² - 10x +3x -6

= 5x(x-2) +3(x-2)

= (5x+3) (x-2)
