1)fill 2 pots half way through soil and label them A and B.
2)fill the pot A with plants waste and pot B with polythene bags.
3)cover both the pots with cloth and leave them for 3 weeks and observe it.

The plants will decompose as they are biodegradable whereas plastic remains same as they were before because they are non biodegradable
