Central Nervous System :

The central nervous system is the part of nervous system which controls the whole body. It includes the brain and spinal cord contained within vertebral columns.

Brain :

Human brain are the largest among all animals. It controls the voluntary as well as involuntary activites. The brain is consisted of three parts –

  1. Cerebrum
  2. Cerebellum
  3. Medulla Oblangata

1. Cerebrum:

Its the largest part of brain and its divided into two halves called cerebral hemisphere. It controls all the voluntary activities.

2. Cerebellum:

Its much smaller than cerebrum and located is located just at the base of cerebrum. Its the main part of brain, as it controls body balance. And injury to it may cause death.

3. Medulla oblongata:

It lies after the cerebellum and are concerned with involuntary activites.
