Step-by-step explanation:

If A and B are length and breadth of a rectangle respectively

then The area of any rectangle is equal to

= A × B

NOTE : A and B should be in Same Unit of length

(i)

Area = 15 × 6.4 cm square

= 96 cm square

(ii)

Area = 8.5 × 5 metre square

= 42.5 metre square

(iii)

since A is given in metre and B is given in centi metre, we should convert B in metre or A in centi metre.

USING. 1 metre = 100 centi metre

B in metre = 0.9 m

Area = 0.9× 3.6 metre square

= 3.24 metre square

(iv)

A = 24 cm

B = 180 mm

USING 1 centi metre = 10 mm

B in cm = 18 centi metre

Area = 24 × 18 cm square

= 432 cm square

let me know if you need any help in further Explanation :)
