The triangle whose sides are

  • a = 9 cm,
  • b = 12 cm
  • c = 15

s=a+b+c/2

s=9+12+15/2

s=18

area =  \sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}

area=

 \sqrt{18(18 - 9)(18 - 12)(18 - 15)}

 \sqrt{18 \times 9 \times 6 \times 3}

 \sqrt{2916}

54 cm^2
