1) Find the area of a triangle whose sides are 9cm,
12 cm and 15 cm. Also find the length of
attitude corresponding to the smallest side
of the triangle​

Answer:

A = 9cm

B = 12cm

C = 15cm

by using heron formulae

Or, S = 18

∴ Area of triangle = 54 m²

So, The Area of triangle = 54 m²

Now, Corresponding to shortest side , i.e BC = 9 cm

∵ Area of triangle = × height × base

Or, 54 m² = × h × BC

Or, 54 × 2 = h × 9

∴ h =

i.e h = 12 m

So, The length of altitude corresponding to shortest side = h = 12 meter

Hence, The length of altitude corresponding to shortest side is 12 meter .
