Here,

We will use area formula of parallelogram.

Formula:-

Area of parallelogram = b × h

In which,

  • b is base.
  • h is height or we can say corresponding altitude.

(i) b = 8.3 cm, h = 4.5

➝ Area of parallelogram = b × h

➝ Area of parallelogram = 8.3 × 4.5

➝ Area of parallelogram = 38.25

Therefore,

Area of parallelogram is 38.25 cm².

(ii) b = 2.5 m , h = 850 cm

Conversion:-

b = 2.5 m

1 m = 100 cm

2.5 m = 2.5 × 100

=250

b = 250 cm

➝ Area of parallelogram = b × h

➝ Area of parallelogram = 250 × 850

➝ Area of parallelogram = 212500

Therefore,

Area of parallelogram is 212500 cm².
