First we will find the area of both the triangles

=> Area of triangle = (bh)/2

=> (bh)/2 + (bh)/2 = bh = ( 3 * 4 ) cm^2 = 12cm^2

Now, we will find the area of rectangle BCEF

=> Area of rectangle = l*b

=> Let FE = 5 cm

=> l*b = ( 5 * 3 ) cm^2 = 15cm^2

Add the areas

=> (12+15) cm^2 = 27cm^2

(You did not mentioned the length of FE or BC so I inserted any random length. replace that 5cm with the actual length and then calculate.
