let x1 and y1 be -2/5 and 6 , x2 and y2 be 2,8 and x3 and y3 be -4, 3 therefore by area theorem

area of triangle= 1/2{x1(y2-y3) +x2(y3-y1) +x3(y1-y2) }

we will get area equals to 16 units
