Given:

A(3/5 , 2)

B(-1/5 , 7/5) {solving 1 2/5 gives 7/5)

x1 = 3/5   ,  y1 = 2

x2 = -1/5  ,  y2 = 7/5

to Find:

AB

Formula Used:

\sqrt{(x2-x1)^{2}  + (y2-y1)^{2} }

Solution:

=\sqrt{(\frac{-1}{5} -\frac{3}{5}  )^{2}+  (\frac{7}{5} -2)^{2}  }

=\sqrt{(\frac{-1 - 3}{5}  )^{2}+  (\frac{7 - 10}{5} )^{2}  }

=\sqrt{(\frac{-4}{5}  )^{2}+  (\frac{-3}{5} )^{2}  }

=\sqrt{\frac{16}{25} +  \frac{9}{25}   }

=\sqrt{\frac{25}{25}}

=\frac{5}{5} = 1

there fore AB = 1
