1). i) The formula used is square root {(x1-x2)²2+(y1-y2)²2}

so answer would be square root

{(-3-2)²2+(6-6)²2}

that is 5

ii). Let A (a,b)=(x,y) and B (-a,-b)=(x2,y2) be the points a straight line

AB=√(x2-x1)²+(y2-y1)²

AB= √(-a-a)²+(-b-b)²

=√(-2a)²+(-2b)²

=√4a²+4b²

=2√a²+b² units
