{\huge{\underbrace{\mathscr{ANSWER}}}}

  • C.P. = 2.50
  • S.P. = 3.00

As ,

S.P. > C.P.

so , it is gain ..

Gain = S.P. - C.P.

Gain = 3.00 - 2.50

Gain = 0.50

Now ,

 \longrightarrow \: gain \: percent \:  =  \frac{gain}{c.p.}  \times 100

 \longrightarrow \: gain \: percent \:  =  \frac{0.50}{2.50}  \times 100 \\  \\  \implies \:  \frac{5}{25}  \times 100 = 20 \: percent
