a)

A=60

B= x

C=180-110 = 70°

A+B+C = 180

60+x+70= 180

x= 180- 130

x= 50°

b)

P=x

Q=70

R=45

x + 70 + 45 = 180

x = 180 - 115

x = 65°

y=180 - 45

y = 135°

Answer:

x =50°

y = 135° x = 55°

Step-by-step explanation:

in fig a)

x + 60° = 110° [ sum of angle opposite to exterior angle ]

x = 110° - 60°

x = 50°

in fig b)

x + 70° + 45°= 180°(sum of all angles of triangle)

x +115° = 180°

x =180° - 115°

x = 55°

y + 45° = 180° (linear pair angles)

y = 180° - 45°

y = 135°
