1-The first 15 odd numbers are: 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17,19,21,23,25,27,29

The numbers =15 (odd)

So,

Median = (n+1)/2 th observation

=(15+1)/2 th observation

=16/2 th observation

=8 th observation

=15

The median is 15.

2-n= 50 (even)

Median = [(n/2)th term + (n/2 + 1)th term] / 2

= (25th term + 26 term) /2

= (24 + 25) /2

= 49/2

= 24.5
