Answer :

Given Data :

(i) 25 , 14 ,28 ,17, 18, 14, 25, 14, 17, 14

Rearranging the given data in ascending order so that we can easily identify mode of data.

Data In Ascending Order :

  • 14 , 14 , 14 , 14 , 17 , 17 , 18 ,25 , 25 , 28

So,

 \quad\quad\quad\large \underset{4}{ \sf\underbrace{14,14,14,14}}

 \quad\quad\quad\quad\large \underset{2}{ \sf\underbrace{ \: 17,17 \: }}

\quad \quad\quad\quad\quad\large \underset{1}{ \sf\underbrace{ \: 18 \: }}

 \quad\quad\quad\quad\large \underset{2}{ \sf\underbrace{ \: 25,25\: }}

 \quad\quad\quad\quad\quad\large \underset{1}{ \sf\underbrace{ \: 28 \: }}

So,

From above observation we can say that mode of data is 14. Beacuse value - 14 occurs many times.

(ii) 0,6, 1, 5, 6, 2, 0, 4, 6, 3, 4, 6, 3,1

Rearranging Data in Ascending Order :

  • 0 ,0 , 1 ,1 ,2 ,3 ,3 , 4 ,4 ,5 ,6 ,6 ,6

 \quad\quad\quad\quad\large \underset{2}{ \sf\underbrace{ \: 0,0\: }}

\quad\quad\quad\quad \large \underset{2}{ \sf\underbrace{ \: 1,1\: }}

 \quad\quad\quad\quad\large \underset{1}{ \sf\underbrace{ \: 2 \: }}

 \quad\quad\quad\quad\large \underset{2}{ \sf\underbrace{ \: 3,3\: }}

 \quad\quad\quad\quad\large \underset{2}{ \sf\underbrace{ \: 4,4\: }}

 \quad\quad\quad\quad\large \underset{1}{ \sf\underbrace{ \:5  \: }}

 \quad\quad\quad\large \underset{3}{ \sf\underbrace{6, \: 6 \: ,6}}

So,

From above observation we can say that mode of the given data is 6 because 6 occurs many times .
