=2(700+500)

=2(1200)

=2400cm

2.) perimeter of square = 4×sides

(a) side=21cm

4×21cm

84cm

(b) side=3m 50cm

converting 3m into cm

=300cm+50cm

=350cm

=350×4

=1400cm

3.) given:perimeter =320m and length=90m

permeter= 2(l+b)

320=2(90+b)

320=180+b

transposing 180 to left hand side,

320-180=b

140=b

breadth= 140m
