Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Question:

  1. Triangle ABC in which AB = 9.3cm, BC = 7cm and CA = 5.1cm
  2. Square of side 2.6cm
  3. Rectangle of length 5m and breadth 250cm
  4. Regular polygon of side 3.5cm

To Find:

  • Perimeter of all the shapes given above.

Solution:

We know that perimeter of a triangle is sum of all 3 sides. So,

1) Perimeter of triangle = Sum of all sides

                                      = (9.3+7+5.1)cm

                                       = 21.4cm

We know that a square has all 4 sides equal. So,

2) Perimeter of square = (side*4)units

                                      = (2.6*4)cm

                                      = 10.4cm

We know that perimeter of a rectangle is 2(l*b)units. So,

3) Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l*b)units

                                          = 2(5m+250cm)

                                          = 2(500+250)cm

                                          = 2*750cm

                                          = 1500cm

                                          = 15m

We know that a regular pentagon has all 5 sides equal. So,

4) Perimeter of regular pentagon = (side*5)units

                                                       = (3.5*5)cm

                                                       = 17.5cm
