1. You can use the Pythagoras theorem to solve this question.

x²=3²+4²

x=9+16−−−−−√x=9+16

x=25−−√x=25

x=5 units. ( REQUIRED ANSWER )






2. 1.8181..

LET X = 1.8181.. (i)

MULTIPLY BOTH SIDES BY 100.

100X = 181.8181..(ii)

SUBTRACT EQ (i) from (ii).

100X= 181.8181..

X=. 1.8181..

X=180/99

X = 20/11 ( REQUIRED P/Q FORM )
