1) Find the product of (5x + 4) and (x2 – 3x) and verify the result for x = -2.

2) Factorize 3(2x – y)2 + 14 (2x – y) + 8 by splitting the middle term.


3) The numerator of a fraction is 8 less than the denominator. If the numerator is increased by 17 and the denominator is decreased by 1, the new fraction obtained is 3/2, Find the fraction.​
