then α+β=5 and αβ= 1
(x−α)(x−β) is the quadratic polynomial.
=>x²−αx−βx+αβ
=>x²−(α+β)x+αβ
=>x²−5x+(1)
=>x²−5x+1
Therefore quadratic polynomial is x²−5x+1
