Answer:

  1. a) 10:1

5 rupee = 500 paise. Ratio of 5:50 = 10:1.

b) 1500/21 = 1500:21 .

c) 1500/21 = 1500:21 .

d) To convert days into hours, multiply the number of days to 24 (Since, 1 day has 24 hours). which shows that the ratio of 30 days to 36 hours is 20 hours to 1 hour.

2.Since, every 6 students need 3 computers. Hence, every 1 student needs 3 ÷6 computers.

\huge\bf\underline{Solution}

Step by step explanation:-

☆For finding ratio their units should be same Then only we can find ratio

______________________________

1) Ratio of 5rs to 50 paise

Here units are not same

So,convert 5rs to paise

1 Rupee = 100 paisa

5rs = 500 paisa

Finding ratio

5rs : 50 paisa

500 paisa : 50 paisa

50 : 1

_____________________________

b) 15kg to 210g

Here also units are not same

1kg = 1000g

15 kg = 15,000 g

So,

Finding ratio:-

15kg : 210g

15,000g: 210g

1500g : 21g

500g : 7g

500 : 7

______________________________

c) 9m : 27cm

1m = 100cm

9m = 900cm

Finding ratio

9m : 27cm

900cm : 27cm

100cm :3 cm

100 : 3

______________________________

d) 30 days : 36hrs

1 day = 24hrs

2days = 48 hrs

like that

30 days = 30 × 24

= 720 hrs

So, 30 days = 720hrs

Finding ratio:---

30days: 36hrs

720 hrs : 36hrs

20 : 1

2) Given ,

3 computers for 6students

First we will find For each students how many computers required

6 ÷ 3 = 2computers

For each students 2 computers required

For 24 students

Required computers are. 24 × 2 = 48computers

So, for 24 students 48 computers are required
