Answer:

1) 1/4×6/6=6/24

1/3×8/8=8/24

rational no. is 7/24

2) -1×10/10=-10/10

2× 10/10=20/10

10 rational no. between -1 and 2 is

-9/10,-8/10,-7/10,-6/0,-5/10,-4/10,-3/10,-2/10,-1/10..

....19/20

thanks .

Answer:

1) Rational number between -1 and 2 are 0 and 1

Also, if u need to find five rational number, then u should multiply the nos. by 6 if u are not getting appropriate no. of rational number

So, -1*6=-6 & 2*6=12

Rational number between -1 & 2 are -3, -2, -1, 0,1

2) Lcm of 3&4 are 12

so, the new no. are, 2/3*4/4 & 2/4*3/3

= 8/12 & 6/12

( we will not factorise 8/4 as it will make the ans tough)

Now, since we are not getting 5 rational number, we will multiply it by 6

= 8/12*6/6 and 6/12*6/6

=48/72 and 36/72

5 rational number between 2/3 and 2/4 are,

45/72, 44/72, 43/72, 42/72, 41/72

3) Finding lcm and multiplying both nos.

we get,

-3/4*3/3 and 5/6*2/2

=-9/12 and 10/12

( since it have five rational number between them, so we will not multiply it by 6 or any other no. )

5 rational number between -3/4 & 5/6 are

-2/12, -1/12, 1/12, 2/12 , 3/12

Thank you
