Step-by-step explanation:

5x^2-6x-2=0

5x^2-6x=2

x^2-(6/5)x=2/5

x^2-2*(3/5)x+(3/5)^2=2/5+(3/5)^2

(x-3/5)^2=2/5+9/25

=(2*5+9)/25

=(10+9)/25

=19/25

x-3/5= (square root of 19)/25

=3/5+(root of 19)/5
