1) Find the side of a square whose diagonal is 16 cm​

  • Diagonal = 16 cm

Let the side of the square be x. ( All the sides of a square are equal).

By using pythagoras property,

→ (Diagonal of square)² = x² + x²

→ (16)² = 2x²

→ 256 = 2x²

 \sf \dfrac{256}{2} = x²

→ 128 = x²

→ √128 = x

→ 8√2 = x

→ 8√2 cm = Side
