For question 1.

 \sf {(2a + 1)}^{2}

 \sf =  {(2a)}^{2}  +  {(1)}^{2}  + 2 \times 2a \times 1

 \sf = 4 {a}^{2}  + 4a + 1

For question 2.

 \sf {(3b + 20)}^{2}

 \sf =  {(3b)}^{2}  +  {(20)}^{2}  + 2 \times 3b \times 20

 \sf = 9 {b}^{2}  + 120b + 400

Identity used:-

 \sf {(x + y)}^{2}  =  {x}^{2}  +  {y}^{2}  + 2xy
