solution \\  \\ (i) \: given \: equation \\  \\  {x}^{2} - 6x + 5 = 0 \\ here \:  \\ a = 1  \\ b =  - 6 \\ c \:  = 5 \\  \\ then \:  \\ sum \: of \:roots \:  =  \frac{ - b}{a}  =  -   \frac{ - 6}{1}  =  \frac{6}{1}  = 6 \\  \\ product \: of \: roots \:  =  \frac{c}{a}  =  \frac{5}{1}  = 5 \\  \\
