\red{\underline{\sf{1.\: Find\:\:the \:\:surface\:\: area\:\: of \:\:a \:\:cuboid\:\: whose}}}

Total Surface of cuboid

= 2(lb + bh + hl) unit sq.

[∵ In which ''\red{l}' is '\red{length}', '\red{b}' is '\red{breadth}' and '\red{h}' is '\red{height}'  ]

(i) length = 10 cm, breadth = 12 cm, height = 14 cm

TSA = 2 (lb + bh + hl )

       = 2[ (10×12) + (12×14) + (14×10) ]

       = 2[120 + 168 + 140]

       = 2 × 428

       = 856 cm sq.

\rule{200}2

(ii) length = 6 dm, breadth = 8 dm, height = 10 dm

TSA = 2 (lb + bh + hl )

       = 2[ (6×8) + (8×10) + (10×6) ]

       = 2[48 + 80 + 60]

       = 2 × 188

       = 376 dm sq.

\rule{200}2

(iii) length = 2 m, breadth = 4 m, height = 5 m

TSA = 2 (lb + bh + hl )

       = 2[ (2×4) + (4×5) + (5×2) ]

       = 2[8 + 20 + 10]

       = 2 × 38

       = 76 m sq.

\rule{200}2

(iv) length = 3.2 m, breadth = 30 dm, height = 250 cm.

Converting all in cm.

length = 320 cm, breadth = 300cm and height = 250 cm

TSA = 2 (lb + bh + hl )

       = 2[ (320×300) + (300×250) + (250×320) ]

       = 2[96000 + 75000 + 80000]

       = 2 × 251000

       = 502000 cm sq.
