1.

(a) 9 : x :: 54 :: 48

➡ x = 8

(b) 2, 6, x are in continued proportion

➡ x = 12

2.

Let the common ratio be x.

Reema's share = 4x

Shyam's share = 7x

4x+7x = 275

11x = 275

x = 25

Reema's share = 100

Shyam's share = 175

3.

(a) 65x

(b) -9

4. -14

5. 4:5 is greater

6. The integer is 2.
