1) Find the zeroes of the polynomial in each of the following:-

(i) p(x)= x-6
(ii)p(x)= 2-8x

(I) p(x) = x-6

so, x-6=0

=>x=6

(ii) p(x) = 2-8x

so, 2-8x=0

8x=2

x=1/4

Answer 2

1.p(x)=6
p(6)=6-6=0
Therefore x=6 is the zero of the first polynomial
