breadth of floor=4m=4×100=400cm [1m=100cm]
area of floor(rectangle)=l×b
=5×400=2000sq.cm
area of carpet(square)=side × side
=3×3
=9 sq.cm
area of the floor that is not carpet
=area of floor - area of carpet
=2000 -9
=1991 sq.cm
