1. For what value of a the following pair of linear
equation has infinitely many solutions?
2x + ay = 8
ax + 8y = a​

if both the eq. are same then the solution will be infinite!

so 2x+8y=8......(1)

2×+8y=8....(2)

now the ratio of a1/a2=b1/b2=c1/c2

here 2/a=a/8=8/a

now take a which fits in this eq.
