Multiply 1 equation by 7

14x-7y-21=0 - 3 equation

Equation 1 and 3

14x-7y-21=0

2kx+7y-5=0

By cancelling +7y and -7y we get,

14x+2kx-26 =0

14x+2kx =26 - 4th equation

as in the data they gave x=1

then equation 4will be

14+2k =26

2k= 26-14 =12
