  • (4) The next stage of its life history is called pupa but before entering this stage caterpillar covers itself into silk fibre. This covering is called cocoon.
  • (5) Inside cocoon, the pupa develops into a moth and comes out as an adult silk moth.

(4)Wool yielding animals are found in hilly and the colder regions. they have thick coat of hair on their body to protect themselves against the cold climatic condition. They do so by trapping the heat in their coat which helps in keeping them warm

(5) Wool obtained from Kashmir goat is soft and is used to weave fine quality shawls called Pashmina shawls. Bactrian camels of Siberia, Mongolia and China give us best quality of wool.
