A list of needs of a Human being are as follows:

  • Our survival as humans depends on meeting our physiological needs. These needs must be met for our bodies to function properly; otherwise, they may completely or partially fail us, causing us to suffer and experience pain. We must first see to it that our physiological needs are met if we are to treat ourselves well.
  • For our lives to be free of stress and full of security, our needs for safety must be met. Unsafe situations can trigger traumatic memories and reactions that can harm our mental, physical, and emotional well-being.
  • Our physiology and safety needs come before our needs for love and belonging. We all require a sense of love and community.
  • The ego and self-esteem needs are related. We all understand how important it is to keep our ego in check for our spiritual homeostasis, but it's also critical to consider how your ego is affecting you because it never completely goes away.
  • Self-Actualization and Self-Transcendence are our ultimate needs. The ability to realize our full potential as spiritual and human beings is self-actualization. Our capacity to achieve a greater objective outside of ourselves in a charitable and spiritual manner is referred to as self-transcendence.
