Work done during expansion is = - P dV

Also, PdV = nRT

n = 1/2 = 0.5mol

T = 273 K

R = 2 Cal/K

Work done = nRT
= 0.5 x 2 x 273
= 273 cal

Hope it helps!

Work done = PdV= nRT

T =273

R= 2  cal/k

n for Hydrogen gas =1/2 = 0.5

Work done = 273 x 0.5 x 2 cal = 273 cal

Temperature is constant and pressure too so we cannot decide the process is isothermal or isobaric.

You need to mention both until they give you another condition.
