1. Galileo was punished by the Church for teaching that
the sun is stationary and the earth moves around it. His
opponents held the view that the earth is stationary and
the sun moves around it. If the absolute motion has no
meaning, are the two viewpoints not equally correct or
equally wrong?

Answer:

  • FROM MY POINT OF VIEW GALILEO WAS PARTIALLY CORRECT, BECAUSE IF YOU SEE  NOR EARTH IS STATIONARY OR THE SUN.
  • IF YOU KNOW THAT SUN ALSO ROTATES AROUND ITS OWN AXIS AND REVOLVES TOO.
  • YES YOU HEARD IT RIGHT SUN REVOLVES TOO ( IN A SPIRAL WAY) AND WITH THE TIME OUR SOLAR SYSTEM MOVES TOO (DISPLACES) - ITS A TRUE FACT.

CONCLUSION :

NONE WERE EQUALLY CORRECT DUE TO LACK OF KNOWLEDGE AND RESOURCES.

THANK YOU...
