1) Gary and Evelyn are shelving books at a public library. Gary shelves 7 books at a time, whereas Evelyn shelves 15 at a time. If they end up shelving the same number of books, what is the smallest number of books each could have shelved?

If they end at same time so we have to find a common number which comes in 7 and 15 table

Gary, 7*15=105

Evelyn, 15*7=105

Therefore The smallest number of books each could have shelved is 105
