  • Cost of 50 pencils = 200 rupees
  • Profit = SP-CP
  • His profit = 200 - 175
  • His profit is = 25 %

{\underline{\boxed{\large{\pink{\mathscr{\:More\:Formulae\:}}}}}}

  • Loss = CP-SP
  • Profit = SP-CP
  • SP when Profit% is given = (100 + Gain%)/100×CP
  • SP when Loss% is given = (100 - Loss%)/100×CP
  • CP when Profit% is given = 100/(100 + Gain%)×SP
  • CP when Loss% is given = 100/(100 - Loss%)×SP

If Gaurav sells 1 pencil of 4 rupees then 50 pencil costs = 50 × 4

Cost of 50 pencils = 200 rupees

Profit = SP-CP
