ANSWER
1.Four forces keep an airplane in the sky. They are lift, weight, thrust and drag. Lift pushes the airplane up. The way air moves around the wings gives the airplane lift.
2.The air that is inside a ship is much less dense than water. That's what keeps it floating! The average density of the total volume of the ship and everything inside of it (including the air) must be less than the same volume of water.
3. I DON'T UNDERSTAND YOUR 3RD QUESTION.
4.The colours you see when a rainbow appears are the result of light being split into its various individual wavelengths. This gives us a spectrum of colours that range from the shorter blue and violet wavelengths through to the longer red wavelengths.
5. Sea divers carry oxygen gas cylinders along with them because there is no free oxygen in the sea water since the little dissolved oxygen present in water can't be used for breathing by divers. It can be used only by aquatic animals.
6.Mountaineers carry oxygen cylinders while going to high mountain peaks because altitude increases as they climb the mountain. The amount of oxygen decreases as the altitude increases. The reason for the decrease in the amount of oxygen gas is because trees are not found in high altitudes.
7.Without protection, an astronaut would quickly die in space. Spacesuits are specially designed to protect astronauts from the cold, radiation and low pressure in space. They also provide air to breathe. Wearing a spacesuit allows an astronaut to survive and work in space.
